As we were searching for substitute for conflict-free diamonds, we stumbled upon this beautiful stone– brighter, shinier, and even more mesmerizing than any diamond we laid our eyes upon. While these are not natural diamonds, they are superiorly cleaner and flawless like one. Each piece is carefully crafted into a masterpiece. With a quality that falls between our CVD lab-grown diamonds and certified moissanite, our  BDNY Diamond is a great choice for those seeking a balance between brilliance and affordability.

Stone Comparison: Falls between Certified Moissanite and CVD lab-grown diamonds.

CERTIFIED MOISSANITE- these are professionally certified. These are near-colorless gemstones composed of silicon carbide, which is the same material that makes up natural diamonds. They are very durable and resistant to scratching and chipping with Mohs hardness of 9.25, which is just below that of natural diamonds (10). Our certified moissanite are known for their brilliance identical to natural diamond but at a fraction of the cost. Our selection boasts a variety of stunning colors, including classic clear, captivating black, and elegant yellow, green, and grey. Some colored moissanite features a coating for vibrant hues, which may require special care over time but every piece will pass the diamond test. Black Diamonds- New York's certified moissanite is among the hardest minerals on earth, more durable than sapphire, ruby, or emerald.

PREMIUM CVD DIAMONDS (Chemical Vapor Deposition Diamonds)- These are certified lab-grown and atomically identical to mined diamonds and are composed of pure crystalline carbon. Our CVD process for these stones relies on a unique and innovative process that makes them look exactly like so-called “natural” diamonds. In fact, even a trained jeweler cannot identify the difference. Our Premium CVD Diamonds will pass the diamond test and can only be made available for stone upgrades at a premium cost.

HPHT DIAMONDS (High Pressure High Temperature Diamonds)- These are real lab-grown diamonds that are created using the high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) method. This method involves subjecting a small diamond seed to extreme heat and pressure, which causes the carbon atoms in the seed to bond together and form a larger diamond. HPHT diamonds are typically yellow or brown in color, although they can also be colorless or near-colorless. HPHT diamonds are typically more expensive than other types of lab-grown diamonds, such as CVD diamonds. This is because the HPHT process is more energy-intensive and requires more specialized equipment. However, HPHT diamonds are also considered to be more durable than other types of lab-grown diamonds.

Although these are only diamond imitators, expert diamond cutters guarantee that our Simulated Diamonds are a cut above the rest. All our natural clear and colored diamonds with 0.40 carat and up will come with GIA certificates. All our CVD/HPHT lab-grown diamonds will come with IGI certificates, and GRA certificates for all our certified moissanite with .50 carat and up. Certificates for all custom-cut moissanite, and BDNY Diamonds are only available upon request before shipping your order. Natural black diamonds will not come with certificates.

Black rhodium is a temporary finish only, we have seen plating last anywhere from days, months to even years. We offer free re-plating up to 3 months.
