HOW FAST DO YOU SHIP?
We aim to ship the same business day except on weekends and US non-working holidays. Most orders will ship through USPS. International orders will ship through USPS International Mail, DHL, FedEx, or UPS, depending on what's available in your area.
All orders under the "Gifts Ready To Ship/Flash Sale" collection that were placed before noon EST will ship the same day or within 48 hours. Weekends and non-working US holidays are not included.
Pieces from our Designer Collection, personalized items, and most jewelry will require 3-20 business days to handcraft, depending on the intricacy of the design (which is usually done sooner). However, as every ring is made to order, some of our rings can take longer. Custom-made orders require new drawings, wax, mold, cast, and unique gem set. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once your item has shipped. Most of our rings are currently not experiencing any production delays, but with how quickly things change, please be aware that delays are a possibility.
RUSH ORDERS
If you need something by a specific date or would like to expedite service, please use 'Expedited+ Insurance' as a shipping option and make sure to leave a note or deadline at checkout and/or email us at support@blackdiamondsnewyork.com to confirm. Most of our jewelry is handcrafted, which typically takes up to 20 business days. Choosing "Expedited" shipping helps us prioritize your order and speed up production.
Important Note: Total delivery time includes both processing time (making your jewelry) and shipping time (delivery by the carrier). Shipping times apply only after your order has been processed.
Our in-stock rings and other pieces are typically handcrafted in a size 6 with natural diamonds in specific carats. Should you require a different size and other stone type, please allow 3-20 business days for our resizing process, which can vary based on the size request. All natural diamonds, lab-grown and certified moissanite with a carat higher than .40 will include a certificate of authenticity.
Please note that all orders placed during the holiday season may incur longer production times. We are not liable for any shipping delays via FedEx, DHL, UPS, or USPS. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.

We design all our jewelry in New York, USA, to ensure the highest quality standards. To get your order to you as quickly as possible, the shipping location may vary depending on inventory and the urgency of your order.
USA Orders
- Most custom-made orders are handcrafted in America by our master jewelers.
- These orders ship from our warehouses in New York, New Jersey, or California, depending on which location can fulfill your order the fastest.
International, Rush, and Deadline-Sensitive Orders
- For international orders, rush orders, and orders with specific deadlines, your piece will be handcrafted by our skilled artisans in Japan.
- While we source our high-quality materials in New York, these special pieces are created and shipped from one of our Global Fulfillment Centers in Japan, Italy, Germany, or Hong Kong. This ensures you receive top-notch quality and craftsmanship, regardless of where your jewelry is shipped from.
Estimated Shipping Times
- USA: 2-10 business days (weekends and holidays not included) via USPS
- Canada: 5-10 business days (weekends and holidays not included) via USPS International Mail, DHL, FedEx, UPS, or a local carrier.
- Other Countries: 7-15 business days (weekends and holidays not included) via USPS International Mail, DHL, FedEx, UPS, or a local carrier.
- Express Shipping: 2-5 business days

- These are estimated shipping times and are not guaranteed due to possible unforeseen delays, such as bad weather, holidays, customs clearance, or shipping restrictions. These factors are outside of our control, but we will do our best to assist you in tracking your order and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Please allow additional time for custom-made orders, as crafting your unique piece requires extra care and attention to detail.
WHY MY SHIPPING IS DELAYED?
Due to unforeseen delays (bad weather, holidays, shipping restrictions, etc.) USPS, FedEx, and other carriers have been experiencing massive delays in shipping. Please be patient and continue to track your order. If you need assistance, please contact our team asap.
HOW TO TRACK MY ORDER?
You can track your order directly with the USPS or the carrier we will use for your package. The tracking info will be emailed to you.
WHY MY TRACKING # HASN'T BEEN UPDATED?
Please note that shipping providers are taking longer to scan and deliver packages during this time. Kindly allow a few days for your tracking information to update. It could take between 2-12 days depending on the restrictions or how busy shipments within your shipping zone.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes. We ship internationally everyday. We aim to ship globally but some countries have shipping restrictions. You can check if we ship to your country prior to checkout.
I LIVE OUTSIDE USA, AM I GOING TO PAY CUSTOMS TAX?
Most of our products don't require additional customs tax. However, every country varies so it's best if you do your own research before purchasing. Most countries do not collect taxes for small items but some countries may collect customs fees. Any additional fee/tax is your responsibility.
LOST PACKAGES INFO
If your tracking shows that your package has been delivered but you have not received your package, please call USPS or the courier shown in your tracking details right away and inquire where they left your package and who received it for you. If your package is indeed lost, please file a lost claim with USPS asap and keep us in the loop. If you want us to file a claim on your behalf, email us your USPS reference # along with a copy of a police report stating that your item got stolen. Claims without proof will not be processed.
