Free One-Year Warranty Terms

• Our free warranty does not cover accidental breakage or beyond normal wear. For comprehensive coverage, you can purchase our premium warranty. This provides protection against more extensive issues for a full year. Contact our team to inquire.
• Customers are responsible for all back-and-forth shipping fees for warranty claims.
• Customers must contact our team for return shipping instructions before sending any items back.
• Customers should make sure that items are safely packed before sending them back. 
• Black Diamonds- New York is not responsible for lost or stolen items/packages during transit.
• All returned packages must use a shipping method with tracking. Packages without tracking will not be processed.
• The warranty does not cover refunds on shipping fees, the item itself, customs taxes, or similar charges.
• Repairs or replacements are strictly limited to maintain policy integrity and prevent abuse.
• After-sale services can take up to 20 business days.

Specific Service Limitations & Quotations

• Missing Stones: Replacing missing stones reported beyond 30 days from the original delivery date will be subject to a quotation based on the total carat weight.
• Loose Stones/Bent Prongs: Resetting loose stones due to broken or bent prongs reported beyond 30 days from the original delivery date will be subject to a quotation depending on the actual condition of your jewelry.
• Re-plating: Complimentary re-plating is covered for the first 3 months from the delivery date. Re-plating requests after 3 months will be subject to quotation. Pieces beyond our warranty period are no longer eligible for re-plating.
• Remaking Pieces: Remaking a piece after the warranty period may be an option, but will be subject to quotation.

Voiding the Warranty

• Black Diamonds- New York reserves the right to void the warranty on any items showing signs of modification, abuse, or damage beyond normal wear, as determined by our jewelry professionals.
• Any repairs or alterations made by a third party will void this warranty.
• If you receive a partial refund or choose to keep the product in exchange for a full refund, all free aftercare services will be voided. Black Diamonds- New York reserves the right to decline service in such instances.

Lifetime Professional Diamond Service

When you purchase a jewelry piece from Black Diamonds- New York, you become a valued member of our family. We are proud to provide continuous premium aftercare services for your jewelry, even after its warranty expires.

• Professional cleaning
  
• Plating maintenance (cost may vary depending on the intricacy of the design)

Important Considerations: While our one-year warranty covers necessary repairs, we cannot control how jewelry is worn or treated. Therefore, we cannot guarantee how long your piece will stay clean, how long the plating will last, how long stones will stay intact, or if the jewelry will ever break due to external factors. Replacing missing stones under this lifetime service will be subject to a quotation based on the total carat weight.
